When it comes to cotton blends, additions like modal and micromodal (rayons derived from beech tree cellulose) confer silky-softness, drape, and moisture-wicking properties. Varieties like pima, an extra-long staple cotton, and the even more rarefied Supima cotton, are prized for a stronger, more-durable weave and silkier hand.
